Hello all and Happy New Year 2012!!! It’s been a while since my last post, but I have officially completed my 4 year degree! Now for the upcoming new in technology and gaming news.
The Nintendo 3DS is making a great and powerful comeback. Some reasons for the sudden rise in sales is the definite price drop followed by the releases of the ever popular Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D Land. Each game sold more than 1 million copies each, and the 3DS itself sold more than 4 million units in the Market. Nintendo can anticipate more millions of sales when Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance March 2012, Kid Icuris March 23, 2012, Paper Mario, and Luigi’s Mansion 2. I know that I will be purchasing these games.
In the world of smartphones and tablets, you can expect to be wowed this upcoming year. Smartphones are a thing of the past this year as Superphones will start making their ways into our homes. New phones from HTC, Samsung, and etc will start bringing out intel phones and new nvidia powered phones. I will be covering more in the future.
The Tablet market coming from the high end companies like SONY, HTC, Samsung, and the like will start developing and delivering QUADCore tablets. These tablets and phones are said through speculation that the Iphone and Ipad’s will be given a run for their money, especially when Google dominates the market with a whopping 53% and Apple ringing in 47%.
Google’s 4.0 or rather Ice Cream Sandwich, will be coming to most of the phones that have come out during the Q2-Q3. Most tablets will also be seeing the port of ICS when the companies have completed their configuration to each device that has been labeled ICS worthy. Any new device that s android based will be coming with the ICS already built in.
Oh yeah, it’s getting better.
